Welwitchia University Partners with Goethe-Institut Namibia

Welwitchia University (Pty) Ltd is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Goethe-Institut Namibia, aimed at enhancing language learning opportunities for our students. This collaboration introduces a structured German as a Foreign Language course, offering students the chance to develop valuable language skills aligned with international standards.

Why Learn German?German is one of the most widely spoken languages in Europe and is highly valued in academic and professional settings. Mastering the German language can open doors to new career prospects, international studies, and cultural exchange opportunities.

Course Overview Through this collaboration, students will have access to high-quality German language courses covering proficiency levels A1, A2, B1, and B2, as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The program is structured to provide:

  • Six-month courses per level, conducted face-to-face at Welwitchia University.
  • Small class sizes, ensuring personalized learning experiences (minimum of 10, maximum of 18 students per class).
  • Expert instruction from Goethe-Institut’s certified language teachers.
  • Comprehensive study materials and free membership to Goethe-Institut’s library, providing access to additional resources.
  • Mock examinations to assess student progress and prepare for official Goethe-Zertifikat B2 certification.
Certification & Career AdvantagesStudents who successfully complete the B2 level will have the opportunity to sit for the internationally recognized Goethe-Zertifikat B2 examination. Holding this certification can enhance academic applications, employment opportunities, and eligibility for study and work programs in German-speaking countries.
