Bachelor of Laws Honours (NQF Level 8)
Requirements
A candidate who wishes to enroll for the Bachelor of Laws Honours (NQF Level 8) should comply with the following criteria:
- The candidate must possess a valid Namibian Senior Secondary
Certificate Ordinary Level (NSSCO), Namibian Senior Secondary Advanced
Subsidiary (NSSAS), Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate Higher (NSSCH),
Higher International General Certificate for Secondary Education (HIGCSE),
International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE), or an
equivalent qualification.
- They must have a minimum of 28 points on the WU Evaluation scale based on
their five (5) best subjects, including two (2) subjects at AS Level.
- One of the five subjects
must be English Language, with a minimum grade of D Symbol or better.
OR
- Mature Age Entry
Applicants must meet the
following criteria:
• Applicant
must be at least 25 years old or over in the year in which admission is
sought.
• Provide
evidence of at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of
law.
• Achieve
a minimum of 25 points in Ordinary/NSSCH.
• Provide
a recommendation letter from their employer or supervisor.
• Applicants
are required to write and pass a mature age entry test.
OR
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
• An applicant must
be 23 years of age or older and must be admitted through RPL.
• An applicant must have completed short courses in the
relevant fields.
