Requirements

A candidate who wishes to enroll for the Master of Social Development should comply with the following criteria:

  • A candidate must hold a relevant Bachelor degree honours in any Social Sciences at NQF Level 8, such as the Bachelor of Social Work Honour, Bachelor of Sociology Honours, Bachelor of Development Studies Honours and any other equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum average of 60% in the final year of undergraduate study.
  • Concept note on their topic of interest.
