ADVANCING HEALTHCARE CAPACITY THROUGH STRATEGIC COLLABORATION

Welwitchia University hosted an institutional engagement session with IntraHealth Namibia to present its specialised postgraduate qualifications, tailored short courses, and industry-focused professional development tracks.

The initiative brought together more than 50 IntraHealth personnel, with widespread participation from regional branch teams connecting virtually across the country. Discussions centred on workforce upskilling, practical competencies, and structured learning pathways designed to address current operational demands in the health and development sectors.

Bridging Academic Rigour and Workforce Needs

Collaborative dialogues of this nature reinforce the institution's strategic priority to establish meaningful partnerships with key industry stakeholders. By delivering accessible and market-responsive academic curricula, the university actively contributes to national capacity building. The engagement allowed for direct presentation of postgraduate curricula and custom corporate training modules. In addition, it gave opportunity to nationwide engagement uniting regional and head-office healthcare practitioners. Furthermore, the engagement opened up dialogue on addressing regional workforce skills gaps through flexible study options.
