Welwitchia University Hosts Key Stakeholder Engagement for Future-Focused Programmes
Welwitchia University recently convened a high-level stakeholder engagement meeting with industry experts and representatives from Namibia’s leading institutions, fostering collaboration to shape innovative academic programmes that meet the nation’s evolving workforce demands.
Participants included distinguished delegates from Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), University of Namibia (UNAM), I-Care, The International University of Management (IUM), Triumphant College, and Lingua College. Government and corporate partners also joined, representing the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security (NCS), City of Windhoek, Telecom Namibia, SOS Children’s Village Namibia, Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs, Office of the Prime Minister, and the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN).
Their valuable insights and expertise are directly informing the development of new programmes across Health Sciences, Law, and Commerce. These include certificates, diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, postgraduate diplomas, and master’s degrees—designed to equip graduates with practical, industry-relevant skills that address Namibia’s human capital gaps and support national development priorities.
Through this strategic dialogue, Welwitchia University is ensuring its curricula remain agile, future-focused, and aligned with real-world needs. Together, these partnerships are creating pathways for lasting impact, producing competent professionals who will drive innovation, economic growth, and societal progress in Namibia and beyond.
